Tellement étrange!

You were right! That was really strange... but which dream isn't? The atmosphere was the best thing on the movie in my opinion, and the music helped to set it up. It was also a bit short I think...
But apart from that, it was OK... I liked this idea of animating dreams... I'd like to do it... if only I could remember my dreams!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful

I'm impressed by how beautiful this animation was when clearly you didnt know how to animate very well... I mean, your later work has much more style and effects, but no one is as heavy and beautiful as this one (which doesnt mean I didnt like them)! Congratulations!
It's been a while since you last uploaded anything... Are you up to something new?

Thanks alot for the beautiful review! I completely agree with what you just said and this particular flash set out the direction for all of my work. A strong concept is so much more powerful then some pretty visuals.
Oh and yeah i am up to something allright.... Something big, this summer it will come out. I also animated a part for the Stop Crying collab that won daily feauture today, so maybe you want to check that out also!

De um goiano prum mineiro

Achei o filme muito curto cara, talvez tenha faltado algo alem da matanca! Eu digo, um comeco, ou um fim, mas sei lah, foi bom anyway... gostei muito do seu estilo, a musica foi boa, eh verdade que eh triste e assustador, mas eh bom.... Vc pode ir longe!
Pra te dizer a verdade eu acho q seu filme foi mal-compreendido (em parte por sua culpa, que nao deixou muitas opcoes possiveis) , mas eh um filme muito bom em potencial!
Vc pode pegar essa minha review e aplicar ela interinha num filme meu "Something Shines", dah uma olhada nele q c vai ver q a gente tem mais coisa em comum do que a nacionalidade!

It's amazing how you can telleport us from the frozen fields of Sweden to a pulsing swamp in Congo! Great work!
So you spent your vacations on Brazil! Hope you've enjoyed it! As a brazilian, i just wanted to make a small correction: at least on brazilian portuguese (perhaps its different on african portuguese), the word "sumo" doesnt mean lemonade. You know that liquid that comes out in your eyes if you squeeze an orange skin? That's sumo! (not a very used word though)...
Thanks for the attention and for presenting us with the wonderful animation!

That movie's done its job well. Not awesome, but you did a decent low-effort short. Unless your teacher is a true pain in the ass, you won't fail. Good luck!

Your movies have something that always make me feel strange, as if everything was ending... You know, some people say life flashbacks when we're about to die... the feeling must be similar (at least for me!).
This one is a masterpiece, everything fits perfectly and adds to the dreamy result! Wonderful! You have a strong fan, Mr. .... (what's your name, by the way, or is it a secret?) :)

You know it occurred to me a little while ago that all of my movies are--at least on some level--about the end of life. I'm a just gloomy character, I suppose, death is something I've been fixated on for as long as a can remember. So the place where my animations come from is my rather morbid but also somewhat whimsical personality.

Anyway, thanks for reviewing and for the 10!

I liked it very much! The style is excellent , the subject is deep. I also liked how you dealed with profound themes (such as suicide, freudian castration -I don't know if that's how you say in enlglish, hehe- etc) without being boring, superficial or falling into common sense. Congratulations! I hope you keep up the good work!

You have talent

Well, you have talent and style, we can see that even in a stick fight. I don't usually like stick fights, they're usually pointless, there's nothing else but random violence. So i don't think that this is the best way to spend your talent. I think you can do much better than that, if you just choose another subject. But hey, that's only my opinion, don't take it too seriously. I liked your movie! Congratulations!
